A family business that ended up writing its own software.

We're a family of four — Breanna and Thomas Curry, and Elizabeth and Brandon Ellis. Two sisters, two husbands, one shop. We've been building businesses together for the last 20 years across a handful of different fields, and a couple of years ago we found the one we're staying in: epoxy flooring.

When we set the flooring side of things up, we did what every other small contractor does — we tried to wrestle a generic CRM into something that could quote sqft, schedule crews, and keep track of materials. None of it fit. The estimates didn't look right, the calendar didn't understand a job site, and at the end of the week we were still doing the real work in a notebook.

So I (Breanna) sat down and started building the software we wished existed. The bones, the structure, the way every screen flows — all of it came from the four of us actually running jobs and getting frustrated together. Thomas, Elizabeth, and Brandon are the reason every part of this app makes sense in the field instead of just on paper. They told me where the pain was; I built the fix.

VEVVO isn't a venture-backed product made by people who've never set foot on a job site. It's the software our own flooring business runs on every day. If something is broken, we feel it before you do. If something is missing, it's usually because we're already building it.

We're a small family company in East Tennessee making something we're proud of, for other folks doing the same kind of work. Thanks for taking a look.
